Whole Brain Teaching

I have used some elements of WBT for the past couple of years. This year, I used it more than ever, and I have been so pleased with my students' success with it. This is a great video which incorporates many WBT techniques.

  1. Thanks for sharing! One of my summer projects is to research WBT more thoroughly. This is a great start. I'm considering WBT for next year.

  2. Love this lesson! I just finished student teaching where I tried to implement WBT strategies a bit. I need practice, but the students responded well. When I left the school, I was given a book that the students created with what they liked best and advice for me in my new class. One of the students suggested I use Smiley/Frowney every day. How awesome is that? Behavior management they loved!

  3. I started using smiles and frowns along with the WBT rules in 2011-12. This past year I did even more WBT and used the super improver wall with great success! I plan on posting about those this summer. My computer is being stubborn and isn't allowing me to view your video but I can't wait to see it!
