Math Common Core and a {FREEBIE} or 2!

Boy, it's been a while since I've posted...Yikes.  Well, the countdown to Spring Break can officially begin! We only used one snow day all winter long, so we're getting a couple of days added to our Spring Break, and that NEVER happens.  I'm super excited, and totally looking forward to a little break from my sweeties! As I'm sure they are equally looking forward to a break from me!  LOL Only a four day work week this week, Friday is the first official day off. ☺Then we don't go back until April 10th! APRIL 10TH! ☺☺

There are a couple of new math stations available in my TpT store.  One is a super cute bug themed common core practice activity for 10 more and 10 less.

The next is a {FREEBIE} for comparing numbers. We recently had mid-year math testing, and lo and behold, many of my firsties forgot how to compare numbers.  WHAT? I know! So I put together a little practice math station to refresh their little memories. ☺

Looks like I'm feelin' the green theme today.  LOL  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Oh, I almost forgot! Here's the other FREEBIE! I did this cute Easter Bunny activity with my firsties last year and they turned out so cute.  I'm hoping to get to it this year too.  Click this link to see a picture of the super cute bunnies from last year.  Here's a copy of the writing paper we used.  I just took pictures with my digital camera.  I had the kids hold a basket and turn sideways so their profile would have a tail.  Too cute! Then I printed them on the laser printer at school, had the kids add color to the black and white picture, and then we  glued on little pom-poms for the tail, ears, and whiskers.  Fun and cute!

Teachers Taking Care of Teachers!

Kreative in Kinder
This is an incredibly important cause.  Please link up and help if you can.  Crystal at Kreative in Kinder is hosting a linky party to help those teachers who lost so much in the devastating tornadoes that ripped through the MidWest and South regions of the U.S. recently.  We all spend a small fortune on our classroom supplies every year.  Buying, making, and creating precious lessons, games, etc.  Imagine losing all or most of it in a natural disaster.  There is so much loss in this area right now, but there is something we can do to help.  Can you donate classroom supplies, maybe picture books that you have doubles of, or games that are in good condition? I will be donating every item in my TpT store to help out.  I'm also going to get together some donations of classroom supplies from my fellow teachers and me.  If you can link up to help, please do.
